The labor force increased by over a half million people in June.  The number of people who have been unemployed 5 weeks or less increased by approximately 1 million.

Sorry it took me so long to excuses. FYI, I update the unemployment numbers 3 times a month; when the national, state and municipality data is released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). On the home page I have the BLS schedule at the bottom and I usually have my website updated within a day or two after that. If you would like to be added to my distribution list for updates, please send me your email address or just print out the schedule so you’ll know approximately when updates will be available. I rarely update the ‘Fun Facts’ pages that contain a lot of info about the states (website, tourist website, flag, bird, motto, when it became a state, etc.) and links to the major cities with in the state. Thanks for taking an interest in what I’m doing!!! Nick Fragale
